Tours
6-14 April 2022: Cathedrals of England
Martin Randall Travel
Nine days, ten extraordinary buildings, top-notch hotels and restaurants. Not cheap, but quite an experience: I’ve had people describe it as ‘life-changing’, and ‘one of the best things I’ve ever done’! MRT are leaders in their field, and you get me as a lecturer/guide throughout.

29 September-7 October: Cathedrals of England
Martin Randall Travel
Repeat of the May itinerary.
Dayschools
I, greatly helped by Liz Cooper, am organising three dayschools. On 21 May 2022 we will explore a group of north Wiltshire churches. On 17 September we will explore Gloucester cathedral and Deerhurst priory; on 22 November, Winchester cathedral and St Cross Hospital.
I will also organise another tour of Oxfordshire churches to former students of my OUDCE online course on cathedral architecture (see below); that will take place in the Autumn, I hope.
Talks and lectures
To the Arts Societies of Cerne, Tonbridge, Pewsey, Wantage and Malmesbury; and to the Marshfield Historical Society.
Teaching and writing
I also tutor the Oxford University Department of Continuing Education course on English Medieval Cathedral Architecture (https://www.conted.ox.ac.uk/courses/architecture-of-the-english-medieval-cathedral-online), which I wrote.
My book, Stones of Britain: Geology and History in the English Landscape will be published early next year.
