Winter Walk III

A soft haze, heavy with near-zero vapours, somehow shut everything down, focusing the eye on what was close and near. The folds of the landscape came into soft-shadowed focus: lynchet, lost field-edge, hollow way and cottage-site; like folds in an ancient eyelid newly opened.
